The BlackPearl Friesian Dance Troupe is centered on bringing award-winning dressage, driving, and liberty costumed choreographed horse performances.
The BlackPearl Friesian Dance Troupe originally started in 2010 as an entertainment equestrian group, has since become an official nonprofit organization. From the time of its inception, the BPFDT, having horses at its core, has morphed over the years from simply a performing group to literally ‘reaching people where they need to be healed.’. We have come to recognize and embrace with honor the significance that horses, especially the gentle, majestic Friesian, have with people. And as such, realizing the gift of touching lives in ways unimaginable.
Whether seeing the beaming smile of a fan, hearing the applause of the audience or the delighted squeal of a child~to blinking back tears while watching as an elderly, wheelchair-bound man or woman reaches out to touch another heart.
