We have sold over 10,000 batteries with zero fires, and it is because we build only with premium LG, Panasonic, and Samsung 18650 cells — and because our riders treat the pack with a little respect. Follow these and your battery will stay safe and healthy for years.
✅ Do:
- Charge and store on a hard, non-flammable surface with good airflow.
- Keep the pack in a dry, room-temperature indoor spot, away from direct sun and heat sources.
- Inspect the pack occasionally for damage — cracked casing, swelling, corrosion, or heat at rest are all reasons to stop using it.
- Keep the charge port cover on when not charging.
- Do not submerge or immerse the battery in water or any liquid, and keep it from getting soaked. It is water-resistant, not waterproof.
- Do not expose it to high heat or open flame, and never leave it in a hot car.
- Do not disassemble the pack or short-circuit the terminals.
- Do not charge below freezing or use a charger that does not match your pack's voltage.
- Do not keep using a pack that is swollen, physically damaged, or getting warm while just sitting — retire it.
