๐Ÿฆบ Pre-Ride Safety Checklist

A 30-second check before you roll keeps every ride safe. Run through these each time:

  • Brakes: Squeeze both ebrake levers and confirm they work and feel firm. Your brake cutoffs should also kill motor power when squeezed.
  • Battery: Confirm the pack is charged, fully seated, and locked onto the mount.
  • Connections & components: Do a quick visual sweep โ€” all Higo connectors seated and aligned, nothing pinched, dangling, loose, or visibly damaged, and all parts (display, throttle, battery mount) firmly attached to the frame.
  • Throttle: Make sure the throttle is not depressed or stuck before you power the kit on โ€” you don't want the bike lurching the moment it wakes up.
  • Tires & quick-releases: While you are down there, a quick check of tire pressure and that both wheels are properly secured never hurts.
Then power on, confirm the display shows no error code, and go enjoy the ride.
