Because the throttle and PAS can deliver instant power, a little care prevents surprise motor engagement — especially when parking, loading the bike on a rack, or working on it.
When you are done riding or setting the bike down:- Turn the kit off at the display power button, and switch off the battery. With the system off, neither the throttle nor pedaling can spin the motor.
- Or set PAS to 0. If you want to leave the display on, press the minus button down to PAS Level 0. At level 0 the motor will not deliver power from either pedaling or the throttle.
