HelpShelf

AppSumo lifetime deals

How lifetime deal accounts work, including stacked codes and custom limits.

If you bought HelpShelf through AppSumo, you have a lifetime account. No recurring subscription, no monthly charge.

How your limits work

Lifetime accounts don't map onto the standard plan table. Your limits are set individually on your account based on the codes you bought, and they override the published plan limits wherever they differ.

So your dashboard may show a plan name while your actual allowances — agents, content per agent, branding removal — come from your lifetime entitlement. That's expected.

Stacked codes

If you bought several codes, they stack: each one raised your limits at the time it was applied. Your current entitlement reflects every code you redeemed.

Typical lifetime accounts carry substantially higher limits than the equivalent monthly plan — commonly 10 or more agents, raised content limits, and branding removal included.

Credits

Lifetime accounts don't run on credits, and you won't see credit usage or overage charges. Your usage is governed by the limits on your account.

Checking what you have

Open Billing to see your current limits. What's shown there is what applies to your account, including any lifetime overrides.

If your limits look wrong — particularly if you redeemed multiple codes and only see the benefit of one — get in touch with your AppSumo purchase details and we'll check your entitlement against your redemption record.

Migrating from HelpShelf v1

If you've been with us since the original HelpShelf, your account and stacked codes carried over. Your v1 entitlements were migrated to this version.

The product changed substantially between versions — v1's per-provider content connectors were replaced by AI-powered search over a unified knowledge base. If you're returning after a long gap, What is HelpShelf? is the fastest way to see what's different.

Upgrading

You can move to a monthly plan if you need capabilities beyond your lifetime entitlement. Contact us first — in most cases we can adjust your limits instead, and there's no reason to pay monthly for something your codes already cover.
