Everything is under Billing in your dashboard.
Upgrading
Pick a plan and check out. Payment is handled by Stripe — HelpShelf never sees your card details.
Upgrades take effect immediately: new limits and features are available as soon as payment succeeds. You're charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you've paid for.
Before downgrading, check what you're over on. If you have five agents and move to Pro's three, or you rely on branding removal, you'll want to sort that out first — otherwise the change lands and something you depend on stops working.
Payment details and invoices
Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your card, change your billing address, and download past invoices.
Yearly billing
Yearly saves about 20%. Switch from the billing page — you'll be charged the prorated difference.
Cancelling
Cancel from the Stripe portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then drops to the Free plan.
Your data isn't deleted on cancellation. Your content, agents, and help center remain, subject to the Free plan's limits.
Failed payments
Stripe retries failed payments over several days and emails you each time. Update your card in the portal to resolve it. Your agent keeps running during retries.
Refunds
Get in touch and we'll sort it out.
